Fucoidan is the foremost marine polysaccharide having bunch of applications in medicinal field. Research field of fucoidan may increase and developed after the 2k years. It is an algal sulfated polysaccharide extracted from nautical brown seaweed. Fucoidan is the one of the major medicinal source having application in clinical, haematological, and biochemical medicines. Explore about fucoidans degrading enzymes, fucoidanases are the main caption in biological chemistry division now a days. Before 2k also some findings would be done about fucoidan but now a day it gets efficient. This review will search that what all intelligence are given about fucoidan and its applications in clinical research after the years of 2k.
